Praga R1 (5th Gen) For Sale

Incredibly fast with high downforce. The car has been reliable and trouble free. It is easy to work on and transport. Parts are relatively inexpensive, and tires/brakes, etc. last a very long time due to the lightweight consutrcution. I’ve owned several Radicals in the past, this is definitely a next level car with similar ease of ownership. Not too far off pace from an LMP3 car but significantly cheaper to run. Runs a 2:05 at Sebring (probably a 2:02 in the right hands). Incredible acceleration, braking performance and capable of 3G of lateral cornering.

Raced in the UK for 2 seasons by Ben Collins (The Stig) in the Praga UK Cup. It was meticulously maintained in the UK by VR Motorsport and since my ownership by AA Autosport. I have a detailed logbook and records. This car was properly taken care of with race winning prep. The car is race ready with new belts, recertified fire bottle, and recent maintenance.

I imported to the US in 2025. I’ve used the car at my club track for track days. I did one race weekend at Sebring with it (NASA). I have several other race cars and am focusing on GT/sports car racing in 2027. It’s my favorite car to drive, but I need budget for my 2027 racing campaign.
