Stone Brothers Racing Ford Falcon BF
This is the sixth of the BA and BF Falcons produced by SBR and is a race-winning V8 Supercar.
This car won at Queensland Raceway in 2008 at the hands of James Courtney, marking the popular Supercar racer’s first win in the category.
Bathurst history is important for the value of these cars and this one has great history as it finished on the podium – third – in the 2008 race in the hands of Courtney and David Besnard. It started third and led 34 laps, giving it some great Bathurst 1000 history.
This car was also raced by Jason Bright in early 2009 and was the first V8 Supercar tested by a very young Kiwi who would go on to become a star – Scott McLaughlin – at Queensland Raceway at the end of that year.
This car has been well maintained and continued its competition life in the Kumho V8 Touring Car Series in the hands of Chris Smerdon with its last race coming in 2015.
It’s the perfect collector car or track day car for the savvy buyer keen to experience the power of a V8 Supercar of the popular late 2000s era.
Available to inspect at Matt Stone Racing’s workshop in Queensland, this car is SBR through and through, it has a very lightly used SBR engine and a second set of 17 inch wheels.
