1998 Porsche Spec Boxster
Strong running 1998 Spec Boxster, with a great engine. Very reliable, bullet-proof racecar that is quick, easy to drive, and incredibly competitive. This mid-engine BSR/SPB is light-weight at approx. 2,600 lbs. with good HP ratio (Dyno-tested at 196.55 HP). The 5-speed gearbox is controlled by a Numeric Shifter making the shifts very smooth and effortless.
Professionally maintained, serviced, and stored by Vail Motorsports, who are known for building winning Porsche racecars. This is a great car to learn how to auto race, with very neutral handling and a thrill to drive. Has never been crashed nor had any racing contact with other cars.
The car is race ready; just add fuel, check the tire pressure, strap in and hit the track. Besides POC & PCA Club Racing and DE events, there are several other sanctioned racing bodies you can build your skills at; NASA, SCCA, etc. I have owned for 2+ years and currently using it in the POC Orange-Cup Club Race Class.
