Brakes
- Dual-circuit hydraulic brakes system with two separate main cylinders. The front to rear brake balance can be changed by rotating the brake balance knob

Chassis
Based on the previous model, the following major development objectives were set and implemented in the chassis for the new 911 GT3 Cup (991):
- Extension of the wheel base by 100 mm (3.94 inches)
- Front and rear axle redesign with optimized kinematics
- All joints in Uniball design for maximum system stiffness
- Brake system improvement
- Increase in axle stiffness
- Improved brake balance setting
Interior
- Trim without noise insulation, integral roll cage
- The interior design Focuses on ergonomics and drivers safety. The center console is tilted towards the driver in order to improve accessibility of the control elements. Appearance improvements feature colored controls and a Cosworth data logger with colored display
- 100 litre street car fuel cell
- FIA homologated Recaro racing bucket seat with longitudinal adjustment
- 6 Point safety harness
- HANS System All cars from the 2004 model onwards are optimised for the HANS safety system
