This 2014 Porsche Cayman was purchased by the seller in 2023 and subsequently converted to a race car by Speed Sport Tuning of Danbury, Connecticut for use in PCA GTB1 events at the beginning of the 2024 race season. Powered by a replacement 3.4-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed transaxle and a limited-slip differential, the car is finished in Agate Gray Metallic with a black hood and front bumper. It rides on 18″ Forgeline wheels and is further equipped with GiroDisc brake rotors, JRZ suspension components, adjustable camber plates, a front splitter, and a 997.2 RS-style rear wing. The stripped interior houses a roll cage with door bars and a safety net along with a Recaro bucket seat, a Schroth harness, an AiM SmartyCam, a Motorola radio, a CoolShirt, and a fire-suppression system This 981 Cayman race car is now offered in Pennsylvania on bill of sale only.

This example left the factory finished in Agate Gray Metallic, and it now features a black front bumper and hood with a Haribo graphic. Dzus hood fasteners, a front splitter, tow hooks, and a 997.2 RS-style rear wing have been installed, and the car was equipped from the factory with bi-xenon headlights. Damage on the right rocker and lower quarter panel is shown in the gallery.

Forgeline 18″ wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero racing slicks. JRZ suspension components include remote-reservoir two-way adjustable dampers, 50-DA Motorsport shafts, and adjustable camber plates. Braking is handled by red Porsche-branded calipers over GiroDisc rotors at all four corners.

The race-prepped cabin is protected by a roll cage that was built by JPC fabrication of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and it houses a single Recaro racing seat trimmed in black and fitted with a Schroth harness. Additional equipment includes a CoolShirt and fire suppression systems, a Schroth safety net, an AiM SmartyCam, and a Motorola radio.

The OMP quick-release steering wheel is trimmed in microsuede and has a yellow centering stripe. An AiM data display is mounted on the dash to the right of factory instrumentation that includes a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and auxiliary readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 23k miles. The Carfax report notes a potential odometer rollback, and total mileage is unknown.

A 3.4-liter flat-six was installed under prior ownership, and it is located behind the passenger compartment.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential

Two spare sets of Forgeline wheels mounted with Pirelli racing slicks and rain tires are included in the sale along with other spare parts.

The Carfax shows no accidents or other damage and notes a potential odometer rollback in February 2024.

The car is not legal for street use and does not have a title or registration. It is being offered on a bill of sale only.
