Engine case
– 930/63 Aluminum 3.3L case, prepped/modified as follows:
– Mating surfaces machined, align bored to standard crankshaft and intermediate shaft sizes
– Main bearing webs reinforced and boat-tailed
– Cylinder spigots refaced
– Oil galleries cleaned, all new passage plugs
– Tail piston oil squirters fitted
Crankshaft
– 934/935 factory racing crankshaft, rod bearing oil passages cross drilled and teardropped, sized for titanium rods
– All oil bores cleaned, new plugs installed
– Bearing surfaces polished; rod and main journals at Std specs
– Magnafluxed and balanced
Connecting rods
– Porsche factory titanium rods, resized, new wrist pin bushings, weight balanced, new titanium hardware
Pistons
– Mahle 95mm hollow crown forged pistons, wrist pin bores polished, new rings and retainers, weight matched
Cylinder heads
– Dual plug, mating surfaces refaced, ported to 41mm intake, 38mm exhaust, snubnose guides, new factory valves – 49mm intake, 41.5 exhaust
– JB Racing valve springs and retainers
– Combustion chambers matched at 75.2 – 75.4 cc
Camshafts/cam drive
– Protomotive 934/935 camshafts, reconditioned by Webcam
– New rockers, rocker shafts, adjusters and hardware, new chains and chain rails
– New JB Racing mechanical tensioners
– Tensioner levers lightened, ground and polished
Intake system
– TWM aluminum manifold with individual throttle bodies, custom aluminum plenum matched to custom full width intercooler
– Left and right fuel rails currently fitted with Bosch injectors
Clutch and flywheel
– 240mm steel Porsche flywheel modified for use with electronic RPM/timing sensor
– New pilot bearing and flywheel bolts
– Aluminum Porsche 930 pressure plate, 6-puck spring-centered clutch disc
Engine external
– Custom heavy-duty billet aluminum crossbar with separate aluminum mount for custom AC clutch assembly which drives a toothed belt for offset mounted AC compressor
– Custom made billet aluminum compressor mounting plate attached to right upper valve cover studs
– Lightweight upper engine shroud
Ignition system
– Bosch format 12 plug distributor, reluctor coil output with mil-spec connector
– Case mounted pickup for flywheel triggers
– 12 plug wire set for dual coils, with factory guide loops and spark plug connector retaining clips
