FABCAR Porsche 993 GT-2
Restored and Rare Fabcar 911 GT-2 that is now street registered. Completed in the mid 1990s at a price of over $250k, this was an open checkbook build but not used in period. Originally powered by a type 964 brought down to 3.2 liters / 5 speed with chassis by Dave Klym Engineering. JLP Jr. was hired for final setup and the owner had a stroke and the car sat for about 7 years unused. It eventually was sold to a racing enthusiast (Bill Eaddy) and went on to dominate in SCCA, racing mostly at PBIR always wearing #59. No accidents ever, now restored and street-registered for fun taking part in rallys, C&Cs or just ripping around the countryside. It’s still very much a racecar but has electric AC and sound deadening. Great history, unique and actually low chassis hours but MANY trophies! Ready for shows, driver’s education or historic racing.
