The Toro Rosso STR4 is a Formula 1 car used by the Toro Rosso team in the 2009 season. The car was unveiled on March 9, 2009, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

In the first half of the season, the driver duo consisted of Sébastien Bourdais and Sébastien Buemi. From the Hungarian Grand Prix onwards, Bourdais was replaced by Jaime Alguersuari.

The STR4 was often compared to the Red Bull RB5, but chief designer Giorgio Ascanelli always emphasized that there were significant differences. Although both cars were fundamentally designed by the same team, the Toro Rosso was powered by a Ferrari engine, while the Red Bull was equipped with a Renault engine. These engine differences resulted in the cars differing significantly in many aspects.
