718 GT4 Clubsport Competition
The primary value proposition of this specific chassis centers on its “zero-hour” engine restoration. By delivering an engine with negligible run time coupled with meticulous maintenance of the car, the buyer saves immediate capital expenditure.
Selling because I’m over 70 and not enjoying it any longer.
Engine Status Fresh Professional Restoration (~1 hour shakedown) maintaining stock specifications. Transmission 7-Speed PDK with Anti-Rotation Kit. Recent Investment $50,000+ (2025–2026 Total Drivetrain/Chassis Refresh) Following a broken valve petal at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in October 2025, the decision was made to perform a total engine replacement rather than a simple repair. The engine was dispatched to the specialists at bgb Motorsports in Florida. Teardown analysis revealed that while a valve petal had failed, the cylinder head remained undamaged, with the debris successfully located in the catalyst. To ensure 100% stock-class compliance for competitive series—retaining original displacement and head architecture—no machining or deck surfacing was performed. The core restoration included:
Core Replacement: The bottom end was replaced with a brand-new factory 9A1 3.8L short block from Porsche via a core exchange, new main bearings, rotating assembly and cylinder walls.
Head Reconditioning: Cylinder heads were reconditioned to original specifications with new valves and springs with all components verified as within tolerances. This included the installation of higher-strength cam phaser bolts—a critical upgrade to mitigate known failure points under high-vibration racing conditions.
System Integration: To protect the drivetrain from harmonic imbalance, a new PDK flywheel was installed. The final engine install, fluid services, and a comprehensive A/C service were completed by Brad Pierce Autosport.
This rebuild provides the new owner with a mechanically “new” heart housed within a proven chassis.
Dyno Results On July 29, 2026, the vehicle underwent final performance validation at MSR Houston. The Dynojet results confirmed
Peak Power: 376.91 whp SAE
Peak Torque: 272.65 lb-ft
The shakedown process included one hour of total run time, with all pressures and temperatures confirmed to be in optimal ranges. The vehicle is delivered with vitals fully verified and track-proven.
Comprehensive Maintenance & Component Refresh (2025) All critical components listed below have accumulated less than 4 hours of total running time, effectively resetting the wear-clock on the vehicle’s major systems.
Major Maintenance History:
Drivetrain: Installation of new axle shafts and a transmission anti-rotation kit to protect the PDK housing.
Braking System: Full rebuild of the brake calipers, installation of new Brake Master Cylinders, and fresh front/rear rotors.
Suspension: New front and rear lower control arms were installed to preserve alignment geometry and bushing integrity.
Ancillaries/Cooling: Installation of a new main fuel pump and harness, a fresh serpentine belt, and a deep-clean of the radiator stack to ensure thermal efficiency.
Electrical Integrity: The cockpit systems were fully serviced, including the replacement of the steering wheel circuit board, ensuring 100% electrical integrity for the steering wheel buttons and Cosworth display interface.
Extensive Spares & Equipment Package. The acquisition of this vehicle includes a comprehensive spares and equipment package, providing a significant logistical advantage.
Wheels: Three (3) complete wheel sets ( 2 session on slicks and 4 on rains).
Professional Equipment: High-pressure Krontec swivel joint air wand, specialized Double up stands, and a Cosworth data download cable.
Trackside Kits: Fuel pump-out kit, spare ignition coil packs, and spark plugs.
Consumables: Spare rear brake pads and spare rear brake rotor rings
