Motorsports Enterprise Racing MER was the Skunkwerks for MazdaSpeed during the Playboy MX-5 Cup series. I believe they built around 30 race cars for the series, MER had 7 Championships in series and this car represents chassis number 27 a later build in the series. It has ALL of the original suspension, Full AIM MXL dash and sensors, dual fire suppression systems, pneumatic jack system. The car has a Crate MazdaSpeed built 2.5 motor, installed by Adam Poland former Pro Driver, Tuner, and Owner of Doghouse Performance, along with IMSA cooling system to increase the enjoyment of the car.
This car is an incredibly fast track day car, or could be raced in STU with SCCA or NASA. Or it could be converted to a SMX with a 2 liter motor and Penske shocks.
