2006 BMW E46 M3 Race Car
For sale is my 2006 E46 M3 project car with fresh S54 and full cage. $42k located in Northern California (can ship or delivery), CA no-op title in hand.
It was being built as a fresh competitor for GLTC last year, but a rod bearing got spun in a test day. Then I sent my car to Lang Racing to get an engine rebuilt and installed, during which I started racing Spec Miata. Now after getting the car back from Lang Racing after 10 months, I decided to keep competing in Spec Miata and sell this project E46 M3 that’s basically completed to be competitive in GLTC. The chassis is never raced or crashed, and the engine is never run after the dyno break in. Everything on this car was done professionally with no corners cut (except for the headlight air duct that was done by me using Home Depot HVAC stuff lol, but it works).
Before the rod bearing got spun, the car was doing 1:38 at Laguna Seca as is, with no aero, 249whp (detune for GLTC) and very old set of A052. This would be a very competitive time in GLTC already, even though the chassis was far from dialed in at the time. It’s ready to rock, just need a new home.
Pros:

Cons:
– All safety stuff expired cause I swapped them onto my Spec Miata. This car will need new seat, harness, window net, and fire suppression to race.
– I moved the AIM stuff to my Spec Miata as well, so no data logging system left on this car. But I left the AIM CAN connection here so it’s AIM ready
