2001 Porshe 996 GT3 RS
You are looking at likely one of the cleanest and most original 996 GT3RS’s available anywhere in the US or world for that matter. This car was purchased new from Porsche Motor Sport in 2001 by Gary Schulteis who has owned the car since.
The car crashed hard in its first race, the 2001 Daytona 24 hours. The car was re-tubbed after this crash and built up “as new”. In 2002, the car finished 2nd in the 24 hours of Daytona, a very significant result.

After the 2002 season, Gary retired the car and it has not been used since. The car recently underwent a complete clean up and refresh of both engine and transmission.
As a result, you are looking at a “ready to race” 996 GT3 RS in top condition. Many of these cars come through our shop, but few as pristine as this one.
The car will qualify for Porsche Rennsport reunions, HSR races, SVRA races and Masters Endurance Legends, which is fast becoming a major series for classic GT cars.
