2001 Porsche Boxster S Track Car
This is a unique, professionally-built Porsche Boxster trackday car constructed by the well-known Vali Motorsports team in California, and dialed in at Laguna Seca. Built as a lightweight analog driver’s car, it blends true race-car performance with enough street equipment to remain usable on the road.
Originally a 2001 Boxster S donor, the chassis was stripped, repainted, and transformed into a purpose-built track machine with extensive GT3-inspired components and a built 3.8L engine from a 997. Despite its race focus, the car retains several factory comforts including ice-cold A/C, power windows, wipers, turn signals, and lighting, making it street legal in most states.
A removable custom fiberglass roof with quick-turn fasteners allows one-person installation or removal in about two minutes, giving the flexibility of open-top or coupe driving.
With only 2,400 miles on the rebuilt engine, fresh fluids, and new Toyo Proxes R888 tires, the car is ready to drive immediately—whether that’s on the street, at a track day, or as a weekend toy.
