1988 Porsche 924S Raced recently in Porsche Club Racing spec, for PCA Club Racing class SP2

This 1988 Porsche 924S has been modified for the track. The 944 S-based drivetrain has a rebuilt 2.5-liter inline-four and an upgraded 5-speed manual transmission along with a Lindsey Racing Billet fuel rail, limited-slip differential, MCS Motion Control suspension dampers on each corner, a 944 Turbo sway bar, an upgraded torsion bar with adjustable drop downs, braided brake lines, and much more.

Utilized for PCA Club Racing, this vehicle underwent prior modifications for auto-crossing activities before its conversion into a dedicated racecar in 2008. Finished in Black over a stripped-out lightweight cockpit, Texas car originally. Factory finished in Black, fitted with tow hooks, hood safety pins, and a Lexan windshield, quarter windows, and rear window. The front driver and passenger windows have been removed. The car rides on 15” Phone Dial wheels dressed in Hankook Ventus RS4 tires.

Recent race history includes the PCA Porsche Club of America Race at Summit Point, log book included, track days at Harris Hill Raceway in Buda, Texas, along with a Champ Car race in September 2021. Many body panel dents, minor dings and scratches from track use are noted. The cabin has been stripped to save weight.

Features include a welded roll cage, a racing steering wheel. No driver belts, removed for another project. I will include a used (dated codes out of date) Ultra-Shield racing seat for the new owner to install. Has additional gauges on the dash and emergency cut-off switches.

Power is provided by a rebuilt 2.5-liter inline-four engine currently estimated at 140-150 HP and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Features include Racers Edge forged rods, 10.2:1 compression pistons, Billett fuel injection, a limited-slip differential, a 944 Turbo S 26.8 sway bar, steel control arms, a 30mm torsion bar, braided brake lines, Zimmerman brakes, and much more. Clean Georgia Title in Hand, mechanically it has a recent service and was raced at Summit Point with PCA Club Racing in 2024 – so reasonably fresh car, tire set, and more.
