1969 Porsche 912

Newly Rebuilt 1589cc race engine in this track proven race car that has a history in SCCA as an F Production car.  Of late, this 912 has been run with the Vintage Racers Group in the mid-Atlantic states.

This 912 has roots in the Southeast region of the SCCA before making it to the west coast where it briefly ran with the SVRA in northern California.  The was sold to an owner in south/central California where it sat for 10+ years before the current owner purchased it.  This 912 arrived with a minimal need for work in order to get it on track and was raced shortly after it arrived on the east coast in 2023.

In 2025 at the Jefferson 500 (Summit Point, WV), the 912 had a lifter failure that forced a full and complete rebuild of the engine.  The engine has been fully rebuilt with new rod & main bearings, new Elgin cam but reusing the the Carrillo connecting rods, the J&E pistons and liners.  The heads have been fully rebuilt with new valve guides, intake and exhaust valves.  Solex PII40’s carburate the engine.

There are ZERO race minutes on the engine so this is fully reset and ready to race.
