1984 Alba AR-3

This the FIRST carbon fiber tubbed sports car ever created. Built by Alba Engineering, which was founded by the Formula One chassis designer Giorgio Stirano in Moncalieri, Italy. This car was commissioned by the world-renowned motorsports figure Gianpiero Moretti, owner of the automobile accessories company MOMO! The car is now powered by a 4.2 litre Buick V6 racing engine with a Haltech Elite 750 engine management system. It runs a Hewland 5 speed gearbox.

This car was an award winner at the 2026 Amelia Island Concours and was a participant at the 2026 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
