This 2004 996 GT3 was developed into a serious, lightweight, fully sorted track car—not a cosmetic build. Approximately 2,950 lb and proven at approximately 2:00 at Watkins Glen and 2:01 at VIR. Built to deliver the feel of an analog, Mezger-powered GT3 with the purpose, pace, and equipment to run with factory Cup Cars of its era.
Documented 2023 complete engine rebuild with 3.8L conversion, Mahle Motorsports high-compression pistons, new wiring harness, solid mounts, Revo 93/100-octane tuning, and 370 WHP on 93 octane; dyno sheets available. Fabspeed sport-cat/muffler-delete exhaust, CSF aluminum radiators, and 997 Cup electric power steering with cooler.
Gearbox and LSD rebuilt by Brian Copans with custom shorter 3rd–5th gears, 996 Cup Blue axles, Cup shift cables, and Numeric Racing shifter. JRZ three-way dampers, TPC sway bars, solid bushings, heim-joint front tie rods, rear toe links, DemonSpeed splitter/canards/tall uprights, and genuine 996 Cup decklid/wing with Gurney.
Race-ready interior includes JPC full cage with NASCAR-style driver door bars, Racetech seat, Lifeline harnesses and fire system, OMP passenger seat/harnesses, window nets, Cup-style kill switches, AiM MXS dash, SmartyCam, brake/oil pressure sensors, Garmin, Sampson radio, and transponder. Includes two newer OZ wheel sets, an additional older OZ set, and original GT3 wheels for storage/transport.
