Following the success of Cadillac’s factory CTS-V sedan program, General Motors partnered with Pratt & Miller to develop a purpose-built GT contender based on the all-new CTS-V Coupe for the Pirelli World Challenge GT Championship. Developed in just eight months, the Cadillac CTS-V.R Coupe made its debut in 2011 and quickly established itself as one of the most dominant GT platforms of its era. Piloted by factory drivers Johnny O’Connell and Andy Pilgrim, the program captured three consecutive Driver Championships (2012, 2013, and 2014) along with Manufacturer Championships in 2012 and 2013.

Built to the exacting standards of Pratt & Miller and developed in close collaboration with Cadillac and GM engineering, the CTS-V.R transformed the production-based coupe from over 4,200 pounds into a highly refined 3,200-pound race machine. Only three chassis were ever produced, making these cars exceptionally rare and highly collectible examples of modern factory-backed motorsport.

Chassis #3 – The Offered Car

The car offered here is Pratt & Miller Chassis #3, driven by Jordan Taylor during select World Challenge appearances, including the 2012 and 2013 Mid-Ohio rounds. Taylor earned a podium finish in the car during its competition career, further cementing its place in Cadillac racing history. Chassis #3 remains the only example actively campaigned in recent years and represents a unique opportunity to acquire one of the most significant American GT race cars of the modern era.

Proven Reliability and Extensive Spares

Acquired directly from General Motors by its current owner, this CTS-V.R was purchased together with the original team spares package and has been meticulously maintained and successfully campaigned over five seasons of Historic events spanning from 2019 through 2023. Over approximately 35 race weekends and more than 150 on-track sessions, the car has demonstrated exceptional reliability, missing only two race sessions due to mechanical issues. It remains a remarkably capable, user-friendly, and dependable race car, equally suited for historic competition, track events, or collection purposes. An extensive spares package is included with sale; full inventory available upon request.
