2020 Porsche 718 GT4RS Clubsport “Pre Covid Car”
This is a 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4RS Clubsport.
The car presents as new. The bodywork of the car was completely removed when the car was originally delivered to the US. Anything that had any scuffs or chips from use was replaced (all bumper plastics front and rear, the diffuser and also the strakes in the rear as well as under the car) or refinished. All of the “flaxseed fiber” components were primed and painted to match the white color of the car. Everything was cleaned and checked. Once that part was completed the car was then dropped off at the wrap shop (without the headlights, taillights, mirrors and rear wing). Then the final reassembly was completed. This is a very slow and painstaking process that everyone of my cars goes through besides all of the servicing and updates that were completed. This means that the new owner gets a car that has been maintained in similar fashion to a car that is ran by a professional race team, where the car not only has to perform at its next event but it also has to present in like new condition.
The aluminum-steel body shell is finished in white and wears a natural-fiber hood and fenders. Both the windshield and hatch rear window are plexiglass and the front windshield is protected with a set of windshield tear offs. The car rides on KW Clubsport three-way-adjustable coilovers and 18″ forged alloy wheels, while braking is handled by monobloc aluminum calipers over multi-piece rotors from PFC. The race-prepped cockpit features an integrated roll cage along with a Recaro fixed-back racing seat, a Schroth multi-point harness, a 911 GT3 R style steering wheel, and Cosworth instrumentation. Power is supplied by a 4.0-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox with a mechanical differential lock. Additional racing equipment includes fire suppression and air jack systems as well as a 115-liter fuel cell.
This track-focused variant of the 718 GT4RS, the GT4RS Clubsport is equipped with an aluminum-steel composite body shell, natural-fiber composite door materials, and a carbon-fiber swan-neck rear wing. The car is finished in white. I purchased the car with 1200 miles. When it came in all the removable body work (bumpers, hood, fenders, rockers, rear wing) was completely removed, everything was throughly cleaned and where necessary paint was refreshed. In the case of the fenders and hood they were primed and painted as their texture is absolutely awful. Then the car was completely wrapped in a custom designed livery and PPF was applied to it. Further details include a Premier Fuel Systems quick-fill valve in the center of the hood, OMP front and rear tow straps, and a roof panel with a removable escape hatch.Staggered-width 18″ GT4RS forged alloy wheels are finished in dark metallic grey and wrapped in transport tires. The car is being offered with a total of 3 sets of GT4RS wheels. The car rides on a MacPherson strut suspension with KW three-way-adjustable coilovers and is equipped with adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars. The braking system features dual AP Racing master cylinders with bias adjustment in the cockpit and bias position on the Cosworth instrument cluster. The stopping power is provided by Porsche-branded six-piston front and four-piston rear monobloc aluminum calipers over multi-piece slotted rotors from PFC. The cockpit houses an integrated roll cage accompanied by a Recaro P1300 GT racing seat, a Schroth harness which was replaced last year as the original one had expired and Safecraft safety nets. The car is equipped with air conditioning, and additional equipment includes a fire suppression system, an electrical cutoff switch. The car will also come with a set of Krontec jack stands (both elephant and regular) GT4RS Clubsport Competition models came equipped with a 911 GT3 R style carbon-fiber steering wheel that is mounted to a quick-release hub and fronts a Cosworth LCD color display with an integrated data logger. The car will also come with a Porsche Motorsports fuel drain hose and controller. The car will also come with a 7 Gallon Fuel Dump can to easily fuel the car and a matter of seconds (dual red head system which help prevent overflow unlike the single red head dump cans that can lead to fuel spillage).
Finally the car will come with a Nitrogen Bottle with a Regulator, hose, Krontec wand and a cart to move the bottle around. Will also provide a complete set of Krontec stands and several sets of brake pads (RSL29, RSL1, etc)
Will also include a spare set of dive planes and splitter winglets ($4,000 to replace them)
This car is meant primarily for someone who intends to race the car and understands that all that these cars are expensive and that racing them requires a substantial commitment to keep the cars running properly.
The actual VIN of the vehicle is WP0ZZZ98ZLK299861
Huge spares package available. Willing to discuss.
The car just attended the PCA race at Road America and won all 3 races (Sprint 1, Sprint 2 & Enduro in the GTD3 class). It previously had also one the other 3 races it attended since arriving in the US at Ozark International Raceway.
The pictures as you can see are of the car after it was disassembled, cleaned and anything that needed to be freshened up was either replaced, repainted or both (bumpers, rockers fenders and hood were repainted, all of the front bumper and rear bumper plastics were replaced including the driving lights which were pretty sand blasted). The headlights were removed, polished, cleared and PPF was installed. All of the under carriage and wheel wheels were cleaned and all components were inspected). Only then then car was dropped off for a full wrap and mostly a front of the vehicle PPF to help preserve the front of the car). This process should be completed at least every third event as the bumpers and undertray/diffuser in these cars accumulate a lot of debris. The car has been meticulously maintained and all it would need to go racing would be for it to be corner balanced for the new driver and have a setup put on it.
As part of the end of the season process, the front bumper was removed from the car, the PPF and wrap were removed and everything was cleaned and inspected. The wellnuts for the dive planes were replaced along with some hardware, the front splitter was also replaced. The car was then taken back to have new wrap and PPF installed and then the dive planes were reinstalled.
Also have a very large spares package that can be purchased separately (spare hood, fenders, front bumper, rear wing, complete suspension assemblies, spare anti-roll bars, spare coilovers, starter, alternator, fuel pumps, etc – everything you would need to to keep the car in top running condition).
Since this is a Race Car it does not have a title. It is sold on a Montana Bill of Sale. Offers will be considered.
